Life is always changing...especially at work!

It seems my life is always changing. Work has been a total bust recently with all the changes going on.  It is hard to stay positive with all the negative things happening it just plain stinks.  I can't really understand what the company is thinking about except what is normal...the bottom line!  I personally don't have a choice whether I am going to mornings or staying on nights...that is up to the few supervisors ahead of me.  I am not worried either way because I have a plan for whatever happens.  I will know tomorrow if I will be getting up early again or working late.  Now for everyone else it seems that everything has changed entirely.  Almost everyone has a mid shift schedule if they are full time.  Only a few lines are there for night and morning full time people.  It seems part time people made out the best with this new schedule.  I only hope everyone knows that this is all temporary such as everything in life.  I really wish the best for all of my team members at work.  I know everybody has families and issues that come along with them.  I only wish my team member's the best.  With that said I must go now.  Have a great week everyone!

Birthday blast!

Ava's party was this past Sunday and I felt it was a huge success. It was a pool party and every child seemed to love being able to go swimming for a few hours even though it is winter. I am so happy I splurged and got the meeting room instead of the same room we had for Caleb's birthday. We had so many kids come to the party it was definitely loud and insane at times. I am thankful to my sister Rachelle for helping when I was busy with some of the kids. I am grateful for all who came out and celebrated with us. I think this is a party Ava will remember as she gets older. The pool was warm and all of the kids had a blast...I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend and has an enjoyable week of warmth. I saw 60 degrees in the forecast on this Thursday. Hard to believe it is not spring yet! Have a great week everyone!

Learning the bright ideas in life...

Hello everyone,

I am sitting at the gate in MSP(Minneapolis airport). I am awaiting my flight to depart and I am thinking of the past two days and am brought to the understanding that I am not as knowledgable of things as I have thought. It seems there are many other ways to do the same things in the Delta system. I hope that the things I have learned will come in handy and will not hinder me from doing my job efficiently and effectively. I have learned that there is more than just putting in training records while being a Learning Training Administrator(LTA) for Delta. It is just a secondary duty of mine but still I am worried that our station needs a lot of help getting everything back to how it was before... My flight is getting ready to board and I need to put my computer away. But on a side note when I was at the Ramada Inn last night I was in the Hot tub and a group of girls were swimming in the pool next to the hot tub. This guy with tattoos sat down in the hot tub and girls decided to join him and I in the hot tub. They started talking to him and it was as if I was invisible. Two of the girls decided to leave and the third stayed and sat at a table in the pool area. It seemed as if this guy had everything these girls wanted. I decided not to stay and watch this guy have his way with this girl. I guess ultimately I have learned that every person has free will to make choices even if those choices may hurt them. That is enough for now...What is your opinion on free will even if it may hurt the person?

I want the best for my kids and I hope they know that with sacrifice comes great reward. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! I can't believe it has already been 6 years. What has happened in 6 years for you?
