Smile, because you lived to see another day... :)

I woke up this morning wondering what excitement today will bring. I started working nights again and it is definitely different than what I remember. There is down time which I am not used to anymore plus there are people who just don't get what it is like during the morning. I look forward to implementing some new guidelines for us at night to follow in order to become a team of one a again and not split by AM and PM shift. All it will take is an better understanding of pre-planning for the next day. I am going to work with renewed excitement to be working with another supervisor for half my day. Hopefully we can figure out great ideas and make us all a team again.

I guess there won't be anymore propositions from ladies of the night when I am heading to work. That still makes me feel gross that I even rolled down my window. Never again...

One cold and dirty proposition...

I was driving to work this week at 3:40am on Lincolnway West near Gene's Camera Store...I had to slam on my brakes at a yellow light. I stopped and a woman came up to the window. I thought she maybe needed help with something... She asked me what I was up to. I said I am headed to work. She said "honey, it will only take 5 minutes." I was confused for a second and realized she was a lady of the street...I told her no thanks and was headed on my way. I felt really dirty driving to work. I am happy that is the first time some has ever propositioned me... Glad I made it till I was 30...what a messed up world! On the other hand, I guess even ladies of the night need to make money somehow...
